Nicholas Biederman participated in the AGA Spring Field-Ops Committee and OESA MC meeting, and the 2017 Operations Conference and Biennial Exhibition in Orlando (FL) April 30-May 5. Over 2000 delates from across North and South America, Spain and other regions around the world attended the conference. In addition the biennial exhibition featured over 300 venders, service providers and manufacturers in a stellar layout at the Gaylord Palms Kissimmee (FL). Congratulations also to GOIA member and principal consultant Nick Biederman for receiving a Bronze Level Service award. GOIA will be reporting on the new products, tools, machine and apps discovered at the exhibits in its Technology Market Watch in the coming months.
GOIA principal consultant, Nicholas Biederman will attend and make a presentation on new products and cutting-edge technologies in Halifax (NS) at the Canadian Gas Association Operations, Engineering and Integrity Conference April 2-4 (2017). The OEI Conference provides learning opportunities combined with a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas around the safety, efficiency, integrity & resilience of natural gas delivery systems. The program includes a mix of plenaries, interactive panel discussions and detailed breakout sessions. The CGA organized conference target audience is directors, managers, engineers, field and general supervisors, Suppliers and Manufacturers. All these stakeholders are engaged in the design, construction, operation & maintenance of natural gas delivery infrastructure. The 2-day program also includes industry manufacturers and suppliers presenting and exhibiting innovative products and services.
GOIA’s Nicholas Biederman will attend the fourth meeting of the IGU WOC4 Distribution Committee in Paris (France) March 21-25 (2017) at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel. This meeting will finalize the details of strategic areas for the overall WOC 4 Distribution Committee that are –
- ACCESS – Development of supply, and removal of barriers towards infrastructure development
- MARKETS — Increasing opportunities to grow demand, integration of gas with other forms of energy, and removal of market barriers
- SOCIAL LICENSE – Improvement to safety and reliability, reduction of the environmental impact, driving higher energy efficiency, and improving community engagement.
